CHEYENNE, WY - Following Wyoming’s decision to deny the Presidential Advisory Committee on Election Integrity’s request for sensitive information on Wyoming voters, WDP Chairman Joe M Barbuto released the following statement:

“Claims made by President Trump that the 2016 election was riddled with widespread fraud have been proven time and time again to be completely false. The Presidential Advisory Committee on Election Integrity is nothing more than an attempt by this administration to legitimize that which is obviously illegitimate. It’s also a severe intrusion by the federal government into individual and states’ rights.”

“Wyoming voters knew this was wrong, and they made their voices heard. As a result, our state has denied the Trump Administration’s request and stands with over 20 other states actively resisting this attempted abuse of power. This was a win for the people of Wyoming.”
