Convention information

Each county holds its own convention; delegates to the state convention are elected at the county level. Delegates to the national convention are elected at the state convention, which will be held June 6, 2020. Please see below for information on each of these.

state convention

The state convention will be held June 6, 2020 via Zoom. Contact 2020caucus @ wyodems.org to contact your county for information on becoming a delegate to the state convention.

The positions of National Committeewoman and National Committeeman are elected at the state convention. Nominations can be taken at the floor; however, if you would like to declare your candidacy ahead of time, you can complete the form located here.

how do i become a state or national delegate?

To become a delegate to the virtual state convention on June 6, 2020, you must file a statement of candidacy with the county party (as determined by the address at which you are registered to vote). Please contact your county party for their application form.

The application period to become a delegate to the national convention in Milwaukee August 17-20, 2020, has closed.
